Earn CTLE Credits
The Teachers’ Academy at the Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center offers 2.5 CTLE credits from the NYS Education Department. Teachers and school leaders will be placed in the role of a student, and learn about coastal environments, dune ecology, energy, and more.

Energy & Us is an interdisciplinary high school curriculum dedicated to exploring the relationships between people, energy, and the environment. Each of the five units is carefully aligned to NYS P-12 Science Standards and elements of the NYS Grades 9-12 Social Studies Framework and includes an additional appendix. ooms.
